Beyond the “white mist” seen on construction sites, fog cannon machines are specialized devices that atomize liquids via high-pressure systems and deliver mist particles to target areas with fans. Boasting “fine atomization, long range, and wide coverage”, they serve as versatile tools in environmental protection, agriculture, and municipal sectors.
Their workflow has three key steps: First, liquids (water, pesticides, etc.) are pressurized to 8-15MPa by high-pressure piston pumps; Second, high-pressure flow is cut into 50-200μm mist particles (1/3 the diameter of a hair) via special nozzles; Finally, fans propel mist to form a uniform “mist curtain” for full coverage. Unlike traditional equipment, they allow precise control of mist size, range (5-100m), and coverage to avoid waste.
They adsorb dust in construction sites, mines, etc., rapidly reducing PM10 concentrations. Mounted on sanitation vehicles, they also suppress road dust and humidify air.
Replacing traditional sprayers boosts pesticide utilization by 40%. They enable water-efficient “extraroot irrigation” and greenhouse humidification to prevent crop loss.
Used for large-area disinfection (10x more efficient than manual work), road cooling (reducing temperature by 5-8℃), and forest fire retardant spraying.
Hand-push: 5-30m range, for small orchards/communities.
Trailer-mounted: 20-80m range, movable for construction/mines.
Fixed: 30-120m range, for large factories/material yards.
Vehicle-mounted: Integrated on trucks, for roads/emergencies.
Water/Electricity Use: A 15m hand-push model uses 80-120L/h water (1/5 of sprinklers) and 2.2-7.5kW power, with low electricity costs.
Water Accumulation: Fine mist evaporates easily, maintaining moderate humidity without pooling.
Today’s fog cannon machines, enhanced with remote control and timing functions, are multi-purpose environmental regulators, improving production and living environments through technology.
